Born in Denver, Troy is the youngest of three siblings. Born into a construction family he quickly adapted and after years of studying and honing his craft, he and his brother opened Hastings Brothers Construction, Inc. in 1995. With an educational background in Architecture, AutoCAD, and project management Troy is a perfect complement to the families growing success. With a keen eye for design and a do whatever it takes attitude, Troy has prospered while gaining a stellar reputation. He, like his brother, is very hands on. An organized and strong presence, Troy can often be found heading a number of projects in the field. As a skilled craftsman, you will often find him lending his skills to each project. Taking great pride in the quality of product that bears the family name, Troy’s attention to detail and strong customer service attributes continue to move the company towards a bright future.
Troy is married and the father of six children. When not overseeing projects, you can find Troy spending time with his family, watching his kids play competitive soccer, or as a knowledgeable mechanic, working on cars.
Excavation & Utilities Manager
Bret is the newest addition to the Hastings brothers team leading up the excavation division. Bret has over 25 years of experience working in the Colorado construction community. As excavation and utilities manager, Bret manages and coordinates all aspects of the excavation division including new business acquisitions, business planning, estimating, personnel and project management.
Bret is a Colorado native (no, they’re not extinct yet!) who enjoys anything and everything the outdoors has to offer.
Excavation Project Coordinator
Seth is a Colorado native, Seth came to Hastings after graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in construction management. Being around the industry his entire life Seth knew this is what he wanted to do. Working closely with the excavation team to help deliver some of Colorado's most prestigious homes, he continues to grow his knowledge of construction and working to become a vital part of the Hastings Brothers team.
When not working you can find Seth spending time with his girlfriend. They enjoy everything Colorado outdoors, from dirt biking to fishing you can find them doing it all.
Mark began his tenure with Hastings Brothers in 2011 and has established himself as an integral piece of office and field logistics. Born and raised in Denver, Mark began his career in 1994 designing pre-engineered roof and floor systems for residential and commercial applications. It wasn’t long before his unique skill set branched all phases of the industry from sales to management. Mark’s comprehensive construction experience is concentrated on developing business, establishing/maintaining client relationships in addition to providing pre-construction services. With an acute attention to detail these services range from CAD based custom designs and establish the backbone of HBC’s estimation department.
Mark is married and has four children. When focused on work, you can find Mark spending time with his family, watching and coaching his kids in competitive sports, or relaxing while trying to get in some fly fishing.
Cindy began with Hastings Brothers in Sept 2016. Another employee who is a Colorado native, Cindy came to Hastings with an extensive background in accounting. She has worked over 30 years in some capacity, playing with numbers. She enjoys paperwork! Cindy handles all of Hastings Brothers accounts receivables, payables, and everything in between.
Cindy is married and has three sons and 6 grandchildren. She loves spending time with them. She also loves the Colorado outdoors. She and her husband love to hike and camp.
Steel Division Manager
Andy has been with Hastings Brothers, in some fashion, since 2000 and has become an irreplaceable asset to the growth and success of HBC’s Steel Division. Born in Wisconsin, Andy moved his family to Colorado where he got his introduction to the construction industry. It didn’t take long before his incredible drive and led to project management and larger ambitions. His natural artistic abilities, combined with a desire to be hands, have merged to form one of Colorado’s most respected structural and architectural steel entities. Known for his attention to detail, knowledge, craftsmanship, and service have become a cornerstone of HBC’s industry leading reputation.
Andy is married and has two children. In Andy’s down time he can be found spending time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors.
